Ottawa School District No. 1847 Separate School Establishment Successfully Formed  - April 26th, 2022

The results of the separate school district establishment vote held on April 26, 2022 for the historical Carleton School District No. 3416 and its contiguous areas within the County of Vermilion River and County of Minburn.

Please be advised that the majority of votes were in favour of establishing the Ottawa School District No. 1847 and its contiguous area, and the establishment will be effective September 1, 2022.

The proposed establishment area includes the following historical public school districts:

Ottawa #1849, Bloomington #1540, Chatsworth #3516, Queenie Creek #1875
