ECCS Dual Credit

Lakeland College and the School of Hope are happy to present our Winter Session Semester 2 Dual Credit courses.

ECCS Dual Credit Program

  • Play
  • Introduction to Heavy Oil & Gas
  • Health Safety and Nutrition
  • Introduction to Esthetics
  • Hair Styling
  • Basic Energy Principles
  • American Sign Language
  • NEW! GIS and Remote Sensing (Drone Prep)

Our Fall Semester 1 sessions went well with good enrollment in most courses (ASL really took off!) with the exception of Health Safety and Nutrition and Basic Energy Principles which were not able to run due to low enrollment (trying again in Sem 2!). We have duplicated our Fall offerings with the exception of our new GIS and Remote Sensing (Drone prep) course. Here is a brief descriptor of the program:

We are proud to announce a new course called GIS and Remote Sensing (Drone prep). Besides learning about how to manipulate GIS data and various software programs, students will be prepared to write the basic drone operator certificate exam (this is a federal gov. online exam). Access to a Drone is helpful but not mandatory for this theoretical course. Students may then follow this course up with a drone flight workshop in their area and take the advanced operator exam for full certification.

For more information concerning about the School Of Hope & Lakeland College Dual Credit Program click here. From there teachers and students can look at the program offerings in the brochure (or printable pdf) and access the registration button (Please note that the separate parent signature pages need only be filled out if students log on to fill out the registration form at school, away from their parents.)

Courses start week of Feb. 20th, registration for most programs accepted until end of Feb. (later for Heavy Oil and Gas).

Let's help students take advantage of Dual Credit courses!

Hoping to hear from you soon; always open to hearing from you in person as well! I can be reached at the School of Hope office 1 (888) 350-4673 EXT 3120.

    Take care ,
