Primary Strategies
|
- Providing PD opportunities that highlight current trends and best practices in reading, writing, speaking, listening and numeracy instructional and assessment practices.
- Creating literacy and numeracy leads within each school to provide instructional strategies and designs within all curricular areas.
- Inclusive Education Leads and FSLW staff collaborate with wrap around services to provide early intervention strategies aligned to developing learning environments designed to ensure the success of all students.

OnGoing Strategies
|
- Recruiting and hiring certified lead teachers with expertise and passion in specific curriculum areas.
- Providing
the opportunity for teacher collaboration to visit and observe other
teachers and their classrooms to expand and enrich specific expectations
and programs that highlight literacy and numeracy.
- Analyze PAT and DIP results to inform best practices and target needs.
- Implementing formative and summative feedback in a timely manner to inform and enhance student achievement.
- Utilize student information systems (SIS - PowerSchool, Extranet, IPP - Clevr) to provide relevant and timely updates to inform and guide student achievement progress updates.
- Identify resources, learning activities and professional development opportunities to support student and staff in the acquisition reconciliation and FNMI knowledge.
- Provide Dual Credit course delivery through the School Of Hope as a Distance Education program to diversify course offerings.
- Equip the CTS mobile trailer with program equipment aligned to student interest within each community.
- Schedule the location of the CTS mobile trailer to align with the programming needs of each community.
